Flammen brechen in wütendem Rot und erstickendem Schwarz über die Leinwand herein, als hätte ein Vulkan den Horizont weit aufgerissen. Die Luft vibriert vor Hitze, vor Endgültigkeit, vor der schrecklichen Erhabenheit des Endes.
JUDGMENT(al) DAY ist sowohl Spektakel als auch Abrechnung – das Feuer draußen und das Feuer drinnen. Der Titel hat eine doppelte Bedeutung: Urteil als Zerstörung und Urteil als inneres Feuer der Selbstverurteilung. Das Gemälde brennt mit beidem – dem äußeren Chaos der Apokalypse und dem inneren Sturm des Geistes.
Es evoziert die Apokalypse nicht nur als das Ende, sondern auch als Offenbarung, wenn alles Verborgene in Flammen aufgeht.
Hier herrscht Angst, aber auch Ehrfurcht: eine Erinnerung daran, dass Enden nicht Stille sind, sondern Transformation, die das Alte verbrennt, um Platz für das zu schaffen, was als Nächstes kommen muss. Feuer ist nicht nur Zerstörung, sondern auch Reinigung, die das Alte zu Asche reduziert, damit etwas Neues entstehen kann.

JUDGMENT(al) DAY is both spectacle and reckoning — the fire outside and the fire within. The title carries its own dual play: judgment as destruction, and judgmental as the inner fire of self-condemnation. The painting burns with both — the external chaos of apocalypse and the internal storm of the mind.
It evokes apocalypse not only as destruction but as revelation, when all that is hidden comes blazing into view.
There is anguish here, but also awe: a reminder that endings are not silence but transformation, burning away the old to clear space for what must come next. Fire is not only end but purification, reducing the old to ash so something new may yet rise.
